Everyone is welcome to come and visit a new litter of puppies and the dogs at Ambercreek.

All puppies are well socialized and played with till they leave home. Nails are trimmed once a week.

Puppies are wormed three times and come with their first needle. We give new puppy owners various information handouts for their education and recommend " Golden Retrievers for Dummys" for reading material.

 We also recommend crate training.

Just a few questions you should expect to be asked by Ambercreek when considering adding a golden puppy to your family.

• How did you hear about Ambercreek?

• Your previous dog history; what breeds you owned?

• Where your dogs are now?

• Who will take care of your dog when you are on vacation?

• What the ages of your children are?

• If anyone in the family have allergies?

• Hours someone is home?

• Where the dog will be when no one is home?

• Do you own your own home?

• Do you have a fenced in yard?

• Your approx. age?

• Your hobbies?

• Why do you want a Golden Retriever?

• Do you plan to take your dog to Obedience classes?

• Male or female or no preference?

• Personal reference such as vet or other?
